KING Charles III and Queen Camilla will visit the Island next month, it was announced in the States Assembly this morning.

The visit 鈥 on Monday 15 July 鈥 will be the first of a ruling monarch since Queen Elizabeth came to the Island in 2005.

Their Majesties will visit St Helier and attend a special sitting of the States Assembly and Royal Court 鈥 as well as a large-scale open air expo which will showcase the best of 澳彩开奖结果.

The rest of their itinerary will be announced later.

The King and Queen will then travel to Guernsey.

Lieutenant-Governor Vice Admiral Jerry Kyd said: 鈥淚 am absolutely delighted that we have been able to share the fantastic news that Their Majesties will be making their first visit to the Island since The King鈥檚 accession to the throne.

鈥淭heir visit is a reflection of the ancient and very personal relationship which has existed between 澳彩开奖结果, as one of the Crown鈥檚 oldest possessions, and the Monarch which stretches back eight centuries.

Charles’s last visit to 澳彩开奖结果 was in 2012 when, along with Camilla, he visited various locations, including the Central Market, Grainville School and the National Trust for 澳彩开奖结果’s Georgian house in New Street.
